Xiao Di Fried Prawn Noodle – A Worth-the-Trip Plate of Goodness

I read about this HKM from a couple of food blogs and put it on my to-eat list. I went down one afternoon to see whether this is worth the hype.

VERDICT: A very good plate of HKM – fresh ingredients, crispy lard, robust stock and a fiery chili sauce.  Xiao Di Fried Prawn Noodle is located in a rather obscure location but I’m willing to make a special trip there again just to eat this plate of goodness.

I waited for 20 minutes during lunch hour before I got my plate of HKM. The assistant will hand you this device when you order so that you can wait at your table.

Overall – Highly recommended. Do make a trip down if you are a HKM fan (Read: SGfoodonfoot’s post for specific directions). :)
