Hai Di Lao delivery at our doorstep
We love the Hai Di Lao hotpot experience (not the waiting time though) and were extremely excited when the restaurant started offering delivery services island-wide. We found the perfect occasion (Christmas and 2 birthday celebrations) to order!
All you need to do is to call Hai Di Lao Delivery at 6509 4111 (12noon to 9pm), armed with their menu here and here. The helpful staff (we talked to 小松) will provide all the necessary information on how to order.
The delivery fee is charged by distance and can be costly (We hit the maximum delivery charge of $50) but we assure you that the overall experience is well worth the premium.
Tip- you can call them to reserve a delivery slot first (We ordered one week in advance) then decide the menu later. Payment is by cash or nets on delivery.
“A party without a cake is just a meeting” – Julia Child. We couldn’t agree more with her!
Buttertrade partners with independent bakeries in Singapore to offer a fuss-free cake ordering experience. Buttertrade lists and delivers (at a flat fee $18 island-wide with no minimum order) a wide variety of cakes from our partners – all-time favourites, novelty flavours, local flavours (think the likes of ondeh ondeh & orh nee), vegan, halal, gluten-free and even a section for our furry friends.
You can order 24/7 at www.buttertrade.com.sg with just a few clicks. Payment is by credit card online.
The Hai Di Lao delivery person doubled up as a server by setting up the table for us. Hai Di Lao charges the usual 10% service fee for their delivery orders as well. This is one service fee that is well worth the price.
The Hai Di Lao freebies! The restaurant tried to create the same positive experience whether you choose to dine in or dine at home. The only difference is – no free manicures for home deliveries.
They even set up a portable trash bin which made it so convenient for cleaning up later. What more can we ask for?
The server started preparing the soup base.
Tadahhh – All ready to enjoy a hearty hotpot session at home.
Ondeh Ondeh Cake
The cake we ordered from Buttertrade arrived promptly (we certainly did not expect less). My dad loves local flavours and we ordered the ondeh ondeh cake for him.
This is one of inthebrickyard’s signature cakes. Everyone was intrigued by the interesting flavour and gave thumbs up to the moist, yummy cake!
Earl Grey Lavender cake
We ordered another cake from Buttertrade on the actual day of the birthday. This time, we ordered the pretty earl grey lavender cake from A Han Bakes. We utilized the 30% off promo (on weekdays only) and the cake cost only $33.60 after the discount!
Do not miss this attractive promotion (30% off on weekdays)- valid till 15th February. Key in ahan30off for any of their cakes in Buttertrade when you checkout.
We highly recommend ordering from Hai Di Lai and Buttertrade for a fuss-free celebrations with your loved ones.
Happy 2016 to all readers!
